An Answer From God

We had just moved into an apartment in a new area, a new school.

My daughter had started kindergarten and was not adjusting well. Each day she would cry. Not just for 15 minutes, but for hours at school. They would have to remove her from the classroom. I spoke with the principlaI who tried to comfort her also during this adjustment. Her crying went on for 3 more weeks and my heart was breaking to see her this way. I didn’t see what I could do for her. And prayed to God that He would help my daughter.

One day as I walked back home after dropping her off yet another morning, I couldn’t contain my sadness and spoke to God as I walked. I couldn’t hold back the tears, I told God "...my heart is breaking" . And He answered me clearly and said " I know how it feels to have to leave your child" and then He showed me when He left His son, Jesus on the cross and a tear falling from Heaven.

I remember God gently telling me that "...There are times we have to turn away and allow others to take care of our children.  We must allow them and pray that our children do what is right."

I asked Him then to please, please take care of her, my one and only daughter.

After that, she started getting better at school. And she joined the Good News Club. A bible based group. I could see her doing better. And it was Father taking care of her because He loves her and He loves me.


Glory and power be to His wonderful name. I love you Father. You are good and kind and loving to your children.
